Dress for the room

Formal or elegant evening wear is recommended for standard ballroom events. Event-specific dress expectations are posted with the event. Newcomers are helped, never humiliated.

Music that belongs here

Jazz, standards, swing, crooners, romantic vocals, waltz, sophisticated soft rock and pop, tasteful classics and carefully chosen themed sets. Phat Cat's is not a generic club rotation.

Everyone gets a welcome

Couples, singles, longtime RomantiCats and residents discovering the venue for the first time are all part of the room.

Dance floor etiquette

If you would like to dance, you are welcome to wait along the perimeter of the dance floor in hopes of being asked, or you may be seated. Please keep the active dance floor itself clear unless you are dancing; standing around on the floor is not permitted.
